Breathtaking ocean scenery unfolds as you follow the trail from Pleasant Bay to Cape Smokey. See rugged cliffs and wonderful ocean views. Then to Baddeck where you’ll visit the Alexander Graham Bell Museum, dedicated to the inventor of the telephone. Land Of The Rising Sun – Japan

japan-copy-2

Hi folks, we are going to Japan this week, Land of the Rising Sun.  I never thought about going to Japan till some of my Facebook friends asked about getting a trip together.  Once I started researching Japan I discovered it is a mix of culture, both ancient and modern.

I found a perfect tour that gives us a true immersion into Japanese culture on this 14 day excursion that visits Tokyo, Hakone, Mt. Fuji, Matsumoto, Takayama, Shirakawa-go, Kanazawa and Kyoto.  One of the highlights of this tour is a visit to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.

  • Explore the famous Ginza district where skyscrapers and neon lights meet high fashion.
  • Explore the hot springs and spas of Hakone, on the shores of Lake Ashi.
  • Take in magnificent views of Mt. Fuji from the Kachi Kachi Ropeway.
  • Taste the local culture during a variety of included local meals.
  • Travel by express train and the famous Shinkansen bullet train.
  • Meet the locals during various included experiences.

Join me as we discover Japan’s timeless temples, unimaginable natural beauty, and technological marvels. The architecture alone is worth a visit.
